The Art Week Guide is curated with care by Commissioner, ArtSeen365, and independent curator Heike Dempster.
This guide is the collective work of artists, arts workers, curators, galleries, educators and art lovers around the world opening up their worlds and welcoming you to experience Miami Art Week. It mostly highlights the work of local artists, organizations and spaces, including Commissioner and AIRIE Alumni to look out for.

Rev. Houston Cypress, is a Two-Spirit poet, artist & activist, from the Otter Clan of the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida and member of AIRIE Friends. He uses his work to foster connections between art, nature, and community. Their contributions focus on the healing power of creativity and the importance of environmental and cultural preservation.

The Carter Project - Open House
Visitors are invited to engage with AIRIE Fellow installations on view at The Carter Project on December 7–8, from noon to 5 PM. This is a special invitation to experience the convergence of innovative design and impactful art in a space referred to by the New York Times as, “…a Sculpture Built to Live In” ( May 4, 2021)

PAST EVENT - AIRIE Miami Art Week
On December 2, AIRIE brought the Everglades to the excitement of Miami Art Week at the inaugural AIRIE Art + Environment Summit. The series of conversations and an immersive installation focused on how artists are engaging diverse audiences in environmental issues and making the outdoors a space of belonging for all.
